Day 1: Central Melbourne & Federation Square

Morning:

Federation Square: Start your day exploring this iconic cultural hub. Visit ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) and the Ian Potter Centre (part of the National Gallery of Victoria).

Flinders Street Station: Capture some photos of this historic landmark.

Afternoon:

Royal Botanic Gardens: Take a peaceful stroll through the gardens, visit the Shrine of Remembrance, and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the memorial.

Evening:

Dinner at Osteria Ilaria: Italian food at a Melbourne favourite, located in the CBD.

Day 2: Fitzroy & Carlton

Morning:

Fitzroy Gardens: Start with a relaxing walk in Fitzroy Gardens. Visit Captain Cook’s Cottage and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this historic park.

Afternoon:

Carlton: Head to Carlton to explore Lygon Street, known as Melbourne’s "Little Italy." Visit the Melbourne Museum and Royal Exhibition Building nearby. Street Art in Fitzroy: Explore Brunswick Street and Gertrude Street to discover Fitzroy’s eclectic street art and boutique shops.

Evening:

Drinks in Fitzroy: Head to Naked for Satan, a rooftop bar offering amazing views of the city skyline and great cocktails.

Day 3: St Kilda & South Melbourne

Morning:

St Kilda Beach: Take a morning walk along the St Kilda Esplanade and pier. Visit Acland Street for its famous cake shops.

Afternoon:

Luna Park: Explore Melbourne’s historic amusement park or relax in the St Kilda Botanical Gardens. Alternatively, enjoy a swim in St Kilda Sea Baths.

Evening:

South Melbourne Market: Head to South Melbourne Market for a casual dinner. Try some fresh oysters or sample local specialties from the food stalls.

Day 4: Day Trip to Yarra Valley

Morning & Afternoon:

Yarra Valley Wine Tour: Spend the day in the famous Yarra Valley wine region. Join a wine-tasting tour that takes you to several wineries, such as Chandon and De Bortoli, or drive yourself to explore wineries, chocolateries, and artisan food producers.

Evening:

Return to Melbourne: Head back to the city and relax with a quiet evening after a day of wine and food.

Day 5: The Great Ocean Road (Overnight Trip)

Morning:

Drive to the Great Ocean Road: Start your road trip early from Melbourne, passing through Torquay (the home of surfing) and Bells Beach. Stop at Anglesea or Lorne for a break.

Afternoon:

Day 6: Return from Great Ocean Road

Day 7: Southbank & Docklands
